BIO

Born in Portugal in 1997, Samperoli (Samuel Oliveira) is a session drummer, composer and collaborator whose commitment to the drums began early.

The passion started when at the age of 7 he laid his eyes on a drummer during a live performance in a private party. After spending the whole night behind the stage watching the drummer play, he asked for a drum kit to his parents as a gift. As years passed by, Samuel gigged, recorded and toured around Europe and UK with multiple bands, performed in all sizes of stages, form busking in the roads of Portugal to big stages like Islington Assembly and supported artists like Skunk Anansie, Muerdo, McFly, N'Famady Kouyaté, King No-One and others.

He was host drummer of multiple jam sessions in London and Tokyo as well as a regular in jam sessions around the city. Had the chance to jam with artists like Maurice Brown, Bubby Lewis, Eddie Brown and others,

Worked as a resident drummer in Maldives at One & Only Reethi Rah Resort.

He's the founder and drummer of Compound Chemistry and works as session drummer for multiple artists crossing genres like Rock; Funk; Folk; R&B; Pop and HipHop music.
